Happy New Year everyone!! To kick off 2018, what is a better way than by having 5 days of giveaways? To start off, I paired with Storybook Cosmetics to give away this amazing Harry Potter themed eye shadow palette and brush set!! I may or may not already own it myself. Ok I do! This set has some gorgeous shades, and I basically feel like a wizard when I apply it with my wand brushes.
Storybook Cosmetics was a passion project of three sisters: Erin, Mandy + Missy. They were quietly making these cosmetics and playing around with fun ideas, like a Mean Girls palette, when they went viral in 2016. Since then, their business has skyrocketed, and they are continuously coming up with fresh and exciting palette concepts!
The Eyeshadow
This set comes with 12 fun shades–some matte, some metallic and some pearl. It features a gorgeous vintage style storybook complete with gold foil details and full-sized mirror. I love the attention detail with the font used on the palette, and of course the shade names. My favorite shade? Bewitched mixed with Salem–I love a good copper shade! And because it matters to me, these eye shadows have never been tested on animals.
The Brushes
This set comes with five limited edition eyeshadow brushes have cruelty-free synthetic bristles and metal alloy handles. Each set includes a flat thick liner brush, tapered blending, flat long packing brush, flat shader, and a blending brush. They come in a custom pink and gold velvet wand pouch, which makes it feel lush. I love the rose gold shade of the brushes, they make me feel fancy!
