I am slightly obsessed with this Oak Atelier bridal session with Chelsea and her adorable puppy Waffles! It was truly a picture perfect day, sunny and not too hot. Which, as we know, has been the Houston thing lately, unseasonably warm weather. Thankfully, we lucked out! The Oak Atelier is one of my favorite spots to do photos, it has great light and always feels like a secluded, unique spot. I love this space because of its 17ft ceilings, marble floors and that mirror! You’ll know what I mean when you see it. It’s stunning!
If you remember Chelsea and Jack, they have done two session with me so far. My favorite is the one I met them at, right before they got engaged at a Christmas Tree Farm! That session was so fun and they even used some of those photos for their Christmas cards this year. I mean, a tree farm is the pinnacle of Christmas, right? These two have a super sweet love story and it revolves around Christmas–it’s when they had their first date, when Jack proposed and now when they got married. December is a big deal to them!
Oak Atelier Bridal Session
Chelsea wanted a bridal session that was in a studio and had a romantic feel to it. I think we nailed the look and feel by doing them at the Oak Atelier! Chelsea wanted to show off the swiss dots on her gown that she got from Blush Bridal Lounge, as she has worn swiss dots in all her outfits leading up to her wedding. It was her own wedding Easter egg for others to put together, and I love it!
Her florist College Park Flowers put together the most gorgeous bouquet that captured perfectly during this session. To compliment her gown, Chelsea had Chouette Designs design jewelry for her wedding look. The pearl earrings are stunning. It makes me want a pair, if I am being honest. And it completes her wedding look! Top it all off with her hair and makeup by Blushd Beauty, and Chelsea looks like a model. And this made for a bridal session that is absolutely gorgeous!
The final piece to this bridal session is Chelsea’s puppy Waffles! The sweetest little puppy ever. Chelsea got Waffles a flower collar and it made her look like the cutest little dog in the world. In some of the photos you can tell Waffles is feeling herself, just prancing around like the princess she is! And in the very last photo Waffles saw herself in the mirror and was barking at herself, it was so so so adorable.
