Last fall, I held some amazing fall mini sessions both on Galveston Beach and at Rice University. It was an amazing time capturing these growing families, some of who I have been capturing for a few years. One family was there when I first started, and have continued to be so fun to capture through the years. These fall mini sessions are some of my favorites, and I think going forward Rice University will be the home of these sessions, as it gives us so many different locations for gorgeous pictures. Plus that architecture! In fact, that’s exactly what I did, check out these other gorgeous fall mini sessions at Rice University the following year!
So buckle in gentle readers, as I show off these beautiful families!
The Maass Family
I have known Jennifer for years now–since I basically moved to Houston. We were store managers together! We have been talking for forever about me capturing her family, and we finally did it! Her girls are growing up so quickly, turning into young women. There is so much love and frivolity in this family, I feel like you can feel it in every image!
The Luu Family
This family has their hands full! Their daughters are full of energy and definitely know what they want to do, which is sometimes preferring to play with leaves instead of having their picture taken! But when they felt like cooperating? Man could they turn on the charm! Kim, you have a beautiful family and I can’t wait to capture you again!
The Hwang Family
Florence has supported my photography since I did my first workshop! She was one of my first test families waaaaay back in the day, so to capture everyone again, was so fun. Both her children have grown so much since then, and it was great capturing them as they are now!
The Mocco Family
The weather was perfect for these beach sessions!! And the Mocco family’s daughter loves the beach and ocean, and basically considers herself a mermaid. Honestly? Same. The sun was setting and it made for some gorgeously hazy family pictures, that are near the Pleasure Pier, but far enough away that it was a lot more calm. Next year {aka this year}, we are totally going in the water and splashing around!!
*not all mini sessions could be shared as model releases weren’t signed by some families, but those that did are featured 🙂
Tell me, did you love these fall mini sessions? I loved how they turned out! Especially the ones at Rice University, so gorgeous!
