A Blue Magnolia bridal session? Say less! So, when Kathryn told me she wanted to capture her bridal portraits at her wedding venue, The Blue Magnolia, I was beyond excited! It’s such a dreamy location that my photographer heart couldn’t help but do a little happy dance!
I’ve had the joy of photographing Kathryn (and Woody!)for their engagement session, and these two are indeed some of my favorite people! So, needless to say, when Kathryn asked me to capture her bridal portraits, I was beyond honored! And as if this sweet season of life couldn’t get any more special, getting to be a part of yet another beautiful milestone made it that much sweeter! Kathryn has this infectious energy about her, and I mean that in the BEST way! Her smile is the kind that instantly makes you smile right along with her, and trust me, that joy shines through in every single one of her bridal portraits! It reminds me a lot of Adley’s bridal session at the Junior League, if I am being honest.
But just wait! The love for The Blue Magnolia doesn’t stop here. Also, just when you thought Kathryn’s bridal session wasn’t already perfect enough, she and Woody have also chosen this very venue to say their “I do’s!” And after having the privilege of capturing so many sweet moments for these two, I couldn’t be more excited to see their next chapter unfold!

To begin with, our Blue Magnolia bridal session was an absolute dream! Nestled in Magnolia, Texas, The Blue Magnolia is a breathtaking wedding venue that offers the perfect setting for romantic bridal portraits. Between its stunning architecture and impeccably manicured grounds, every corner of this venue was picture-perfect. Needless to say, it made the dreamiest backdrop for Kathryn’s bridal portraits!
No bridal session is complete without a little glam! The talented team at Sunkissed and Madeup knew exactly what they were doing when it came to getting this bride camera-ready! From her gorgeous hair to her flawless makeup, every little detail was perfectly in place for Kathryn’s bridal session. Blooms by HEB brought the perfect touch of whimsy and romance with the dreamiest spring color palette! Playful pops of color and beautiful blooms made Kathryn’s bouquet feel fresh, fun, and effortlessly romantic. Those gorgeous spring colors complemented the beautiful surroundings at The Blue Magnolia! Then, there was the dress! Can we get a standing ovation?! This absolute showstopper from Weddings by Debbie looked like it was made just for Kathryn! From the flawless fit to the stunning attention to detail and timeless elegance, everything about it was absolute perfection.
I’m a firm believer that when you combine an already stunning bride with the incredible talent of the wedding professionals she handpicked, a whole lot of magic is bound to happen! And in Kathryn’s case, the result was nothing short of a chef’s kiss masterpiece!
