Fall minis last year were at one of my favorite spots in Houston: Rice University! Today I am highlighting three of the families who I captured. We explored different areas of Rice, but got pictures in the lovely corridors as well. I love how Rice gives you so many beautiful places to take pictures, it really makes my job so easy!
The Gills
I love this family! I captured them two years ago in a park session that was loads of fun! The parents are both very active and laid back, so we wanted to make this session a reflection of that. We kept it fun and light hearted! Plus Kendall and Jeremy have this amazing chemistry, so we had to get some photos of them making out a little. And to cap off the session, we had to do a group jump, it’s always so fun!
The Youngs
I met Kari this year through my friend Brandi. And man, she and I got along so fast! A talented photographer herself, she captures weddings and portraits beautifully! It was an honor to capture her and her family for the fall minis. We wanted to highlight her connection with both her husband and her son, and I think we got it in spades! I also love Kari’s outfit, that maroon top is so flattering on her, and I adore her hat!
Recently they lost one of their dogs, and my heart breaks for them. I am hoping they are are doing ok ❤️
The Williams
Little known fact, Sarena is my massage therapist! She helps me when I am working out too much or photographing a ton. She helps manage over use of my arms and legs. She’s amazing!!! I have also done her branding photos a bit ago, a session that truly fits her as a healer.
For this session, we wanted to make it exactly them! Their dogs, her almost teenage son, just as they are. I love how we explored the grounds and got some gorgeous pictures in the trees. Plus, her dogs are some of the best behaved dogs I have ever captured! So well behaved!
