Laura and Scotty wanted something that felt romantic and included Spanish Moss, so we made that happen! As a Brazos Bend engagement photographer, it was so magical to see the love these two share and continue the engagement celebrations with them. We were able to capture the beauty of Spanish Moss, Brazos Bend State Park, and all things Laura and Scotty.
Despite the forecasted rain, we lucked out big time for their Brazos Bend engagement session. They drove straight from Austin, and we documented their sweet love. And, if you are from Texas, you are very familiar with the craziness that Texas weather can be. So we were extra lucky with a beautiful day! And although they had a long drive, they showed up in the greatest spirits and mood. Their sweet and playful love was on full display, and it was so much fun to capture it all. They shared so many laughs and tender moments, I just know their wedding day will be so beautiful.
As if their love couldn’t be more special, I was able to capture it within the beauty of Spanish Moss and Brazos Bend State Park. Located just southwest of Houston, Brazos Bend State Park is BEAUTIFUL. With over 5,000 acres of diverse land, the park is home to stunning ancient live oak trees adorned with Spanish Moss, creating a dreamy, romantic, and intimate setting.
