Who here loves a colorful wedding? My heart sings when I walk into a wedding and the couple has embraced color, so this wedding inspiration comes from this feeling. It’s kind of like when you hold up an item of clothing and ask yourself whether it brings you joy, colorful weddings give me the same joy!
The Rainbow Details
When Brandi, from Laced with Grace, and I discussed the inspiration for this shoot, we wanted it to bright, and light and colorful. We dreamed of tables with a different color at each setting, with a bridal bouquet that was a cascade of color. Of course we wanted the boutonniere had to be super colorful too, and Flower Vibes created a magical assortment! We wanted it at a modern space, and Hughes Manor was the perfect space to show off all the color!
We wanted to have some fun drinks, and Palace Party made the most colorful blended beauties, that also tasted amazing! And of course we wanted to have treats for days!! Wink by Erica made the most delightful donuts and cookies, all of the emanating glitter. Paired with all of these, is the cake made by Cake Fairy by Monica. It’s geode loveliness, and we surrounded it with flowers to show off its rainbow effect.
Of course all the details couldn’t be carried out without a stunning bride and groom. Sarah and Kyle, whose wedding I helped capture a few years ago, were so so fun bring to this shoot! They are effortlessly in love, and it shows. Fun fact, since this shoot they have had a handsome baby boy!!
