Remember these two from their super cute Houston outdoor engagement session with their dog? Now they are basically an old married couple! Courtney and Dylan had a super romantic Magnolia Bells Houston wedding, and it was the bomb!
About Courtney + Dylan
These two cuties met on the app Bumble. And from what they told me, it seems like they connected really fast. She liked how he dressed and Dylan confessed that he liked her butt! It’s the little things, am I right? But it went a little bit deeper, turns out Dylan is a great listener, which Courtney appreciates, and they love doing the same things together, from traveling to going to concerts together. Dylan has even gotten into going to brunch with Courtney and enjoying it!
How he Asked
Dylan had let it slip to Courtney that he had her grandmother’s ring ready to propose to her with. So now Courtney was just waiting for when Dylan wanted to pop the question. On a relaxed Thursday night, as they were BBQing and having a few drinks, Dylan got out the ring and proposed. Courtney admits she doesn’t remember exactly what he said, but remembers it being really sweet!
Romantic Houston Magnolia Bells Wedding
Courtney and Dylan had a truly romantic Magnolia Bells Houston wedding. My favorite moments from the wedding were:
- how Courtney’s bridesmaids cried and hugged her during their first look
- how emotional Dylan got during their first touch
- when Courtney’s father sang to the couple right after he walked her down the aisle
- that Dylan’s friends did a strip tease for him during the garter toss!
- how much fun the entire wedding party was
But honestly? The wedding was so much more than that. They were both so excited to marry each other, that it was palpable during their first touch. As they read their letters to each other, Courtney’s mom and bridesmaids looked on, tearing up from the porch of the bride’s cottage. It extended to the ceremony, when their eyes met. The energy in the room was glowing and I might have teared up a bit. And when you get to the couple portraits you can see how excited they are to be married. And we had a blast together doing all the photos!!
