Most weddings I capture are downtown, so it’s a fun and rare occasion when I get to go to Cypress Texas to capture a wedding! When Lexi and Cody told me they were having their sweet wedding at Bridal Oaks, I was excited. I knew it would look beautiful and be perfect for their vision. They did an amazing job with the tables pieces in the reception space, I specifically love the sweet heart table. Also, there was a great grooms cake with a Star Wars theme. Be still my nerdy heart!!
About the Wedding Couple
Before their wedding at Bridal Oaks, Lexi and Cody met in high school. Lexi admits it wasn’t love at first sight, but the more time they spent together, the more they liked each other. And now? They are married! They love eating out together {who doesn’t!}, and watching movies together.
When Cody proposed, he took Lexi to a park near their home. It was already dark out and their best friends helped set up a candle lit area under a canopy, talk about romantic!! Lexi says she knew it was happening because Cody was acting super nervous and took the long way home. Women’s intuition is strong, y’all!
Wedding at Bridal Oaks
I already mentioned that I loved their reception space. But Bridal Oaks, In Cypress Texas, is truly beautiful. When Lexi was getting ready, it was easy to capture her because the room lends itself that. Lexi’s mom helped her in her gown her mother-in-law helped her in her shoes.
These two planned a sweet wedding at Bridal Oaks. They had gift bags that said Mr + Mrs, as well as clear tumblers that had their names on it and their wedding date. The wedding ceremony was sentimental and sweet. And the food? It was delicious!
Another thing I loved about this sweet wedding day, were the wedding party and bridal portraits. The wedding party was game for everything I threw at them, and it made for some really fun photos! This is what I love about small wedding parties! We have ample time to get the cool photos.
Overall, this sweet wedding at Bridal Oaks was a blast. I am so happy for Lexi and Cody, they are the cutest couple.
