Have you been to Gerald D. Hines Waterwall in Houston? It is really something, especially in pictures! I mean, you know I love it there because I have captured lots of sessions there! Like this gorgeous engagement session with Robert and Andrea. So when Thu reached out to me to do a Houston waterwall graduate portrait session, you know I was game!
Thu and I have known each other for a while! We worked at Starbucks together for over a year and during that time we got to know each other really well. Thu has always been driven. This woman was training to be a shift lead at our location while killing it at school, studying marketing. On top of all this, she would find the time to be creative and bring in knit things for her coworkers! I have a super cute grey and black knit camera in my house thanks to her. She’s the type of person who walks into a room and lights it up. So one of my goals was to bring out this bright, fun person into her photos, and I truly think I did!

Houston Waterwall Graduate Portrait Session
For this session, Thu wanted to go to a few places. Of course we went to the water wall and did photos around it as well. I love the trees that lead up to the wall, and frequently do photos there. She then wanted us to go to her school and do photos around the campus. We went to Link-Lee House and then the areas of campus Thu frequently went to while attending. I loved how the photos at Link-Lee turned out, those stairs were especially fun! When you look through the photos, let me know which ones your favorites are.
