I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for a good bridal session. I have written a blog post as to why I feel they are worth doing, and I stand behind everything I wrote in it. It’s wonderful having that special moment with the bride to see her shine in her gown. There’s always a moment where she fully feels like a bride and gets even more excited for her wedding day. The same thing happened during this Houstonian Hotel bridal session with Jennifer.
Jennifer’s Houston Bridal Session
Jennifer wanted to do her session at a spot that felt special to her. The Houstonian Hotel is where her sister was married and she felt a special connection to. Her family also loved this as a spot, and her mother had hoped Jennifer would also marry here. Jennifer and Nathan decided to get married elsewhere, but the hotel was perfect for her bridals.
The session happened shortly after the big freeze in February and so things were just starting to come back to life. It was a late spring and when we did the photos not all of the crawling ivy had come back, but the trees were getting green and the flowers were starting to bloom. Jennifer had her hair and makeup done by Blush and Company. I love the color of lipstick and I think she chose a romantic hairstyle. I am in love with her flowers as well, they match the florals for her wedding! Very colorful, vibrant, giving off a Secret Garden vibe. Rexberry Events did an amazing job on them.
Lastly, I love the gown Jennifer picked. Like her hairstyle, it is soft and romantic. She got it from Marry Go Round, a shop that I find a lot of my brides find very unique gowns. I love the slight train this gown has. This was one of my favorite gowns that I captured this season.
