Shelby and Colton had a GORGEOUS engagement session at the Houston Arboretum. This sweet couple was so much fun, and it was such an honor to be able to document their love!
We started this session at the Houston Arboretum, which is BEAUTIFUL! If you’re looking for a good location, this stunning nature center is the perfect spot to showcase your love and document your engagement. We took the opportunity to venture to the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall that is breathtaking! Beyond the fact that you can create some photography magic here, it is just stunning to see in person! If you are visiting the Houston area, this is a must-see!
For their session, Shelby decided on a gorgeous white dress for some “bridal vibes” for her first outfit. It was a great choice to contrast all the magical greenery at their shoot location. Shelby and Colton definitely threw in some personal touches for their Arboretum Engagement session, which we loved! Their favorite movie is “Up“, so they were sure to include the sweet little backpack in their photos. Remember that your engagement session is the perfect time to honor and celebrate your love. Including personal touches & details is a fantastic way to do that. You’ll look back on these photos with such fondness, because they are truly YOU.
For their second look, Shelby wore a long emerald green dress, that photographed SO well when it moved. We used this outfit in front of the Waterwall and it was perfect. These two lovebirds were so amazing to capture, and it was so fun to document this season of life for them.
