Allison’s Houston Bridal Session
As I was driving to the Houston Arboretum for Allison’s bridal session, it was threatening rain, which we were hoping to beat. It was the opposite of the day we did Allison and Jared’s Houston skyline engagement session. Thankfully the rain held off for Allison’s bridal session at the Houston Arboretum and we were able to capture some gorgeous photos! Although this session the rain stayed away, it was still humid, especially for a late September day. Thankfully Allison had her hair and makeup professionally done, so you can’t tell in the photos. She was glowing! It was fun to meet her mom and good friend before the wedding too! They got to work with the back of Allison’s gown so they could be ready for the wedding day. This is one of the small perks of doing the bridal session, is the practice of doing up the gown in advance, so that you learn where the tricky spots are. Or how long it will take to do up the buttons, if the gown has them. All of us had a great time and made me even more excited for the wedding day!
Allison’s Bridal Session Look
Allison looked gorgeous in her gown from Carol Hannah, that has a gold foiled open weave linen ballgown with structured boned bustier. On her it is breathtaking. Her hair and makeup by Butter Artistry looks so fantastic on her. The team really nailed her look. And when add in the flowers from HEB Blooms, her overall look is organic with a dash of Jurassic. Since Allison is getting married at the Museum of Natural Science, around all the dinosaur bones and fossils, she wanted a look that paid homage to the venue. And it works, especially at the Houston Arboretum!
