Christmas is a pretty big deal to Chelsea and Jack. These two met around Christmas and got engaged at a Christmas themed store! So to say that having a Christmas tree farm couples session was on brand for them, well that’s just straight up facts. And I freaking love it! The location for the shoot was also ten out of ten, perfection. Holiday Acres Tree Farm is located in Manvel, TX and has a huuuuge field of trees. In fact I have done Christmas mini sessions there through the years and I love how festive it looks there, even when you have a minimal setup.
Christmas Tree Farm Couples Session
Chelsea booked this session before getting engaged. In fact, I think had Jack not proposed to her just before the session, she thought he might do it here. But he had plans that were super awesome and fit with their love story! Instead, this session was a celebratory one! They wore two different outfits, one being dressier and the other being super wintery for the trees. The funny thing is that, with this being in Houston, it was actually warm and stormy that day, so we were sweating by the end of the session! I love, and I mean love Chelsea’s first dress, I am so glad I got her to twirl in it, because look at all the movement! And Jack is seriously handsome in his blue jacket. I am so grateful the weather cooperated long enough for us to get great images.
