I always get excited when my couples book a bridal session with their overall wedding day coverage. In fact I have written a blog post as to why bridal sessions are important to do, and I continue to agree with everything I wrote. Plus I love having another touch point with the bride on the road to capturing her wedding. Jensen and I had a great time capturing her Creative Chateau bridal session, which we ended at a local park with a moon her husband Joseph made for the wedding day. So special!
Jensen’s Houston Bridal Session
Jensen wanted to do her session at a space that was not only pretty, but also air conditioned. You see, we did her bridal session at the end of June. We landed on the Creative Chateau as so many spaces within the building are beautiful and full of an old world charm. I love that is a blank slate, so anything you do there looks gorgeous. The Houston bridal session happened at the end of June and it was crazy hot that day! It has been unseasonably hot since May, and this day was no exception. Jensen had her hair and makeup done by Beauty Babes. I love the color of lipstick and she did a romantic low bun hairstyle. The bun shows off the highlights in Jensen’s hair and it looks exceptional. Paired with that hairstyle are delicate pearl earrings in the shape of a teardrop. Lastly, I love the gown Jensen has chosen for her wedding day. It is soft and romantic, has a lovely flowing ballgown skirt and I love the lace. She purchased it from Evoke Bridal, a shop that is one of my favorites in the Houston area. I am obsessed with the lace, but also the glitter under it. It has a feminine celestial vibe, which is perfect for the theme of her wedding!
