You may remember this sweet couple from their Downtown Houston Engagement Session, now get ready for their wonderful wedding! Alyssa and Kai have actually known each other since junior high! They sat at the same lunch table and were fast friends. These two have such similar tastes in books, shows, and movies and they love nothing more than curling up on the couch and just being together and making each other laugh. Plus they love going to trivia night at Plucker’s and even have a plaque on the wall! Alyssa: “My mom has commented several times when she has stayed with us that she would be falling asleep and would constantly hear us laughing from our bedroom over the dumbest stuff, but it always reminds her how dorky and much in love we are.”

This sweet couple was quick to incorporate sweet Star Wars moments throughout their wedding. From figurines to their cake topper, to custom ceremony arrangements done by Space City Brass, we all felt their love of that franchise and each other on that February day! They took time to read each other personal and private vows during their first look and had their guests heard these sweet words, there wouldn’t have been a dry eye! After saying “I do!” the bride and groom were let down the aisle by the horns second paying homage to a New Orleans wedding Second Line! It was such a fun moment!
Kai’s dad recorded an acoustic version of their song “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake for the couple’s first dance and they even had it turned into a statement piece by Jo’s Paper Kitchen. And I think you can tell the couple’s love of music from their custom and sweet “Spotify” table details. Photos of the custom enmeshed with music moments that are special to their love story. They also offered great interactive details with their Super Bowl Squares game and a caricature artist! This beautiful wedding ended with a Private Last Dance, a delicious hot cocoa and coffee bar, and a sparkler exit.
