It was such fun to travel a bit for this Barr Mansion Austin wedding last year. Christmas ornaments and a black tie Austin wedding? Yes please! To be honest, I was equal parts excited and sad for this wedding. Why? Because this couple is truly one of the nicest people I know! I always looked forward to checking in with them, so although I was so excited to see them get married, I was so sad to not have an excuse to chat with them.

You may remember this gorgeous couple from their dreamy McGovern Centennial Gardens Engagement Session – in that post we told you how these two met at a liquor store. Anastasia was in the scotch aisle putting a bottle on the shelf when the whole shelf came crashing down. She stood stunned, arms full of bottles she had saved, and soaked full of fancy scotch when Eduardo came around the corner and helped her out. To honor this meet cute they had a scotch tasting at their wedding! If that doesn’t ring a bell you may remember Anastasia from her beautiful bridal session at Barr Mansion, where the couple also chose to wed! Because their wedding was near Christmas, they added in holiday touches like custom ornaments at each place setting.
