A celestial wedding at The Luminaire Venue really lends itself to space puns, but before I get ahead of myself with how over-the-moon I am for this couple or how their love was written in the stars, let me remind you of their incredible love story.
Houston Wedding Couple Jensen and Joseph
You may remember Jensen and Joseph from their Kemah Boardwalk Engagement Session – he proposed on a ferris wheel! They had a first date that most people only dream of. They met at the Kemah Boardwalk, went on rides, had snacks and then dinner. It started out lighthearted but they wound up talking all night. They felt a huge connection! Jensen has told me a few times that their first date was electric. And that ever since they have done whatever they could to stay together. Jensen also had an incredible Houston Bridal Session with me this summer and I got a preview of her wedding gown from Evoke Bridal, a shop that is one of my favorites in the Houston area. It had a feminine celestial vibe, which was perfect for the theme of their wedding!
This couple aimed for the stars with their celestial theme incorporated at every turn. A color palette to match the night sky, a floral moon ceremony backdrop, a starry night invitation, dancing on the clouds for their first dance, a written in the stars cake topper, and even their on theme hashtag and neon photo booth sign On Cloud Cacciola. Their children were members of their bridal party and the couple even shared a first dance with them at the reception. I absolutely love this couple to the moon and back!

In Jensen’s words: “Joe makes me strive to be the best person I could possibly be. He is the best man and he deserves the best of me, he has continued to support me on my dream of being a teacher. He has helped me become a stronger individual that can take care of myself and my children and dreams with confidence.” In Joseph’s words: “I feel that my life would be somewhat bland and without emotion without Jensen. But with her, I feel love and compassion. When she becomes motivated to accomplish a task or care for something, she goes 140%. I cannot possibly hope to keep up with her sometimes, and to me that’s beautiful.”
