When I first started talking to Blake and Abbie about their engagement session, they knew they wanted some place that would make their photos look special. And if you have ever been to the Creative Chateau before, you know that this space will make any session look stunning! The great thing, other than how beautiful the space is, is that we didn’t have to worry about the weather because the entire session was indoors. And if Rheanna and Joseph’s spooky engagement session at Sekrit Theater is any indication, I love using an indoor space for photos! I have to say I really loved how the images turned out for this Creative Chateau engagement session.
Wedding Day at The Homestead
Abbie and Blake loved the vision behind The Homestead the minute they saw the plans for it. They booked the venue before it was finished, but the images on the website and social media accounts told a great story. It is modern, without a barn feel, which is hard to find in Houston! Blake expressed that he loved the bold choice in decorating style and that they could take the spaces and make them their own. After talking to Alexis, the owner, they felt like they had found their venue. A modern space for them to start an amazing marriage! And I know that having a great foundation for their marriage is hugely important to Abbie and Blake, as well as their families.
Creative Chateau Engagement Session
Blake and Abbie rented a few rooms within the Creative Chateau for their engagement session. Since they wanted to have diversity in their photos, they loved the clean look of the Coco room, but then also loved the hearth and white couches in the Juliette room. And we ended the session outside, with them framed in the doorway. Every image is classic, beautiful and full of emotion. These two dressed up and made sure to look fantastic for their photos. I mean come on, that blue suit? And than maroon velvet gown? That is some gorgeous colors and they look fantastic in them! But the best part? You can feel how much these two love each other! Is it too early to say I cannot freaking wait for their wedding?
