When I first talked with Jeannie and Alan, I could tell they were so excited to be getting married. As we planned their engagement session, it became clear they wanted something the felt like them. The decided on one the prettiest parks in Houston and then a few intimate photos at their home. I had such a great time capturing this gorgeous McGovern Centennial Gardens engagement session!
McGovern Centennial Gardens Engagement Session
As a well seasoned Houston wedding photographer, I knew that going to McGovern Centennial Gardens for this engagement session was going to be gorgeous! I was really excited when Jeannie and Alan decided on it as the main location for their engagement session.
Jeannie and Alan decided to bring their favorite books with them, as one of the things they love to do together is read. I am mildly obsessed with the Pride and Prejudice edition Jeannie brought with her.
Can we also talk about their outfits? I freaking love Alan’s bowtie, with the suspenders. He looks so handsome! And Jeannie looked stunning in her red/brown top and white skirt. Aren’t they just so sweet looking?
This last photo with their bunny is beyond adorable!! If you remember from Marissa and Toan’s engagement session, they also included their pet, same with Allison and Jared! I love that couples are wanting to incorporate their fur babies in these sessions. If we had had Minerva when we were engaged, you bet your butt Robert and I would have included her in some way! Would you include your pet in your engagement session?
